STONE ISLAND FAKES / HOW To tell
STONE ISLAND If you’re sick to the again teeth of ‘Authentic’, ‘a hundred% Real’, ‘Bought BY MY GIRLFRIEND’, ‘STAKE MY LIFE ON IT’ (and some of them should), Garbage Stone Island garments, have a read of this.
I bought three different coats, Raso Gommatto (certain !) ,various sizes and all ‘Pukka’. What a load of crap! All three went again having paid what i assumed would keep me out of ‘Fakesville’ a median of £130+, let me inform you that you are waisting your cash !! I moved heaven stone island sweatshirt small and earth to get my money back and so should you.
I do personal several originals, bought in Firenze( Florence, Italy) with no bull promises,so here’s what i know…………
To begin with, the tags ought to be an identical. The sewn in tag quantity and the tie-on tag number. As acknowledged elsewhere, 2006 items WILL start with a 44 or 45. If the tags do not match, bin it.
The sewn in tag (S.P.A.Artwork and many others) WILL present country of origin(various countries involved are Italy,Romania,London..for ventile jackets(woven in Great Britain)..and Cina….this final one is actually China, but as with the word CIAO,the italians pronounce ‘C’ as ..ch…..) these nations produce varied elements or supplies and the tag will at all times learn RAVARINO (Mo), ITALY in smaller print.
Subsequent, the patch buttons Will probably be distinctive, black with stone island etched round the skin and the center of the button Will probably be a ‘+’ signal, this may make the holes the place the thread goes quarter circles, NOT regular holes as another button with a ‘+’ signal between them…..Since i first began scripting this,i have up to date this information with information gained first hand, so, there seems to be yet one more arsehole making fakes out there, somebody can now immitate the ‘+’ sign buttons, tho’ not very properly !! The brand new batch of faux buttons have a ‘+’ sign for the eyes,However, they’re DULL plastic copies,as opposed to GLOSS Stone Island Shirts S.I. originals. Also, the faux buttons place the ‘+’ sign very deep into the button, noticeably deep. The fakes are also sharp edged to the inside of the button, whereas S.I. are easy. The final damnation is this, on the again of those buttons, (normally the patch button ), the fakes are easy. The original buttons have two round indentations, virtually holes, on the reverse of the phrases ‘STONE’ and ‘ISLAND’ , that is the place the buttons had been held within the press.
The arm patch, an ideal source of delight, ought to be silk backed, but more importantly,it Will need to have the badge detail (compass and writing ) showing in FULL on the reverse side, many fake badges are only part sewn onto the reverse
If i can’t see clear pictures of any garment,my initial reaction is they are attempting to hide one thing
I hope this helps, these bastards needs to be exposed for promoting faux gear to a,(typically),unsuspecting public.
The only buttons with holes would be the larger buttons, the sleeve patch buttons and all other small buttons will probably be as above
Zips are not only for doing up the jacket, they too have to be high quality items YKK,LAMPO and many others …not kanglidanglicheapaschipsbutrightcolourshite (mine are all YKK or LAMPO)
Subsequent is the sizing, go on the stoneisland.co.uk site and you will see the european measurement stone island sweatshirt small chart is completely different to ours. A jacket marked M, Will be a small in our sizing, L medium and XL obviously massive.
