Loving The Lakes And Palaces Of Udaipur
The morning solar was already baking the streets as I began my day. Grateful I had the foresight to pack a hat, I wandered through the native market. Old and younger women, dressed in vivid pinks and brilliant yellows, sat along the steps of the Jagdish Temple, braiding rings of flowers on the market. With marriage ceremony season officially in full swing, the streets were full of vendors promoting all the pieces from fabrics and jewelry, to painstakingly hand painted invitations. As the market streets stone island mustard jumper pulsed with the power of town, my guide pointed out the settings used for the James Bond basic, Octopussy. The movie came to life with each step, and i continued down the principle road, towards the city Palace.
