Positioned at Stone Creek Golf Club, the customized-made home was designed and constructed by Wilson Design and Construction specifically for occupants Jim and Connie McNab.

Chic Design Stone Island Pullover Mens Dark GreenFor 21 years, Wilson Design has been constructing and creating properties, and proprietor Todd Wilson has been a member of Southern Living’s custom-builder program for the past 12 years.

His shut ties to Southern Living introduced the newly constructed dwelling to the magazine’s consideration after Wilson submitted it for showcase approval, he said.

“We go through the design course of where they (the clients) give me the needs and needs, and that i design the house round what they need or need and what their tastes are, and in this case, we did it in the best way that reflected the Southern Dwelling model,” Wilson said.

“Whiteside Farm,” as it’s been dubbed, is the latest plan that Wilson has submitted to Southern Residing, and it’s the primary to be featured as one of many showcase homes by the journal, Wilson stated.

“This showcase dwelling not only demonstrates the qualities we look for in our CBP member … but (it) also offers back to the group by way of support of worthy charities,” mentioned Kristen Bryan, advertising director for Southern Residing, in a press release.

One of the charities the home benefits is Operation Finally Residence, a nonprofit group offering “custom-made, mortgage-free homes to wounded and disabled veterans, Labor of Love animal rescue and Valdosta/Lowndes County Younger Life,” in response to the release.

To raise funding for the nonprofit, tours of the home are available till Jan. 21. The hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon-four p.m. Sundays.

The tours are to point out the skill of Wilson Design while also affording the corporate the prospect to further their efforts in helping Operation Lastly Dwelling.

“We’re just huge supporters of them,” he stated. “We simply want to continue to support them, and this is a way to do this.”
