How long does it usually take to get listed?
I ‘m not sure if this actually blongs in the ‘Link Lists and Getting Listed’ forum but it’s definately a noob question.
I have submitted to a lot of link trades and lists but have only been listed by a couple of them. It’s been 6-8 weeks for a lot of them and I haven’t heard anything back, good or bad! Is this normal to take this long or do a lot of them just not respond and let you keep their link on your site for as long as possible without listing yours? Or do I just need to wait a little longer? Thanks!!

• How many words of text do I need?
• How many times should I use the keywords?
• How do I do keyword research?
• What if my English isn’t so good?

None of that matters if you can’t SELL! They are important but if you are forgetting to sell the surfer then once the surfer gets there they are just going to leave. If the keyword optimization gets the surfer to your site you’ve done one thing right but if the surfer gets there and isn’t turned on enough to click on a link to go to the site then you haven’t completed the pass. Surfers might not read big blocks of text but there is one thing they read – they are going to read the text right under a picture and they are going to read big text. Make sure that your main selling point is in bold or in bigger font. Draw their attention to the big selling point.
