Oke here my problem for a couple of days i get the strangest submits at my linksite!
Example:

in januar this year i got realy 100s a day of submits like that, everytime strange urls, strange emails, but most of the time same ip, i did manage to block the ips from the others, but now all the submits have ip: 208.85.181.35……and ven i have blocked it, it still comes thru my submitpage…..by 100s again, i have tried to search but cant find any trace on the domains or emails….!
So any advice how to stop them is welcome!

In regards to submits..how many galleries/images are too many for the current free site structure?
I sometimes get submits with 4 – 6 galleries with 12 – 15 pics each. So that’s 48 – 90 images.

When I first started submitting, auto submitting would usually get you blacklisted. Is it becoming more accepted? I know Greenie and others allow trusted submitters to auto submit, perhaps that has made it less taboo? I just don’t see it coming up as much as an issue, and it seems to be mentioned less in rules.
I don’t really want to do it, I was just wondering what list owner’s attitude these days are…(?)
And one other question, how can you tell if someone is auto submitting? I get some submits that I think are, but I am not completely sure.

Well, it’s been a while since Jay did that first revamp of the site – but I’m not sure whats happening there, I was wondering if anybody else here knows?
I’ve been subbing there ever since Jay started it, had a preferred account for many years.
But, since the revamp, there haven’t been gay categories to sub too.
And I haven’t gotten any approval letters.
I’m a lazy fuck, so I haven’t checked my referrers to see if he’s switched to aprovals without letters – but, I don’t like lists that don’t send approvals anyway, and I’ve been cutting them out of my submit lists.
It "feels" dead. I was wondering if any non-lazy webmasters have proven to themselves that Jay is still reviewing and linking new subbed sites?

Okay so I am making a serious attempt to get into free sites.
I’ve made dozens of them in my time, but the thing that has always deterred me is the complicated mass of sites out there, and figuring out where to get listed.
I have found entry into this area difficult because of how picky it seems site owners are with the recips. And I understand. But once you submit a site you can’t go changing out recips, and when you submit to a bunch of sites that do not list you, you are stuck with sending them traffic for nothing. At least that is what I experienced, but honestly it was a few years ago now.
So I am going to attempt to get to a list of probably 6 sites that I submit to regularly, and hope that my efforts work out. I also know sometimes there is drama with site owners not liking other recips, so all that stuff making it complicated just kept me away.
Now here I am, ready to ask for help.
I realize submit lists are very personal and definitely proprietary information, but figured I would make this thread nonetheless.
Off the top of my head, there are three I figure are some of the bigger ones I’d like to get listed on.

Penisbot
and Jays XXX Links always a mention.
So I really only need three more, and with 6 recips on my freesites, I should be good to go. No?
