1. we had half as many internet users
2. today people are 500% less scared using CC’s online
3. internet was to slow to offer HQ.. and WTF is HQ !
4. back then little video content and low Q compared to now
5. and and and
still so many webmasters made a shitload MORE cash back then….
besides the few cam sites, "some" tubes selling ads. etc… that are doing well
we are nowhere near making the money we should be making!

I wonder if the Groupon model could not be used to promote websites.
I know some have set up fake Groupon feel sites to promote adult sites, but they are not (from what i can see) real ones.
I guess it would have to work somthing like this.
the site would make an offer for that month or day.
by this i mean the site emails its affiliates the offer – the affiliates would put up there promo text with the link to the site offer.
i have not seen sites do this.
of couse it can be done more advanced in the way Groupon works. by this to get the offer people need to tell others of the offer.
it would (or should) mean that if the offer was subject to say 10 people joining, then it would mean 10 customers quick. and the affilie should see sales increase too.
