I’m doing fairly well, earning around $2,000 a week from adult and mainstream combined.
I’m thinking of moving from the UK to somewhere with less taxes and more sunshine. Preferably with as little beurocracy and redtape as possible too.
In Europe, Spain is an obvious choice, but taxes and social insurance payments are high. I notice there seem to be a lot of Spain based webmasters here.
The Czech Republic has 15% tax but gets extremely cold in winter.
I’ve read that Uruguay also has low tax. And a nice climate.
Any suggestions?

Hey Guys. I?ve been in constant contact with my rep (as well as a few other people) at Epassporte. Personally, the biggest thing I?ve been waiting to see is when wires would start being sent out. In my opinion that is the first step in the right direction. Today I heard one of my two wire requests was approved and sent. I have yet to receive it and as soon as I do I will update everyone. I believe this is the first step in the right direction.
I just wanted to add two things for you guys to think about.
First.. I?ve said this before and I think it?s worth repeating. This industry has had it?s fair share of companies that have gone under and disappeared with people?s money. Chris has been involved in a few situations where his companies ran into difficulties but EVERY single time those companies survived and paid everybody every single penny that was owed. I have never heard of a single person that Chris Mallick has screwed over. You may not like the guy but everything I?ve ever read shows that in a situation like this you WANT Chris Mallick involved. He?s our best chance at survival and getting paid. He fights his ass off and does whatever possible to make sure his clients get paid. That is huge in my opinion.
Second… You guys have to remember the people at Epassporte are human, they can read, and they have good memories. If you treat them like shit and rip them to shreds you can be DAMN sure it isn?t doing you any favors. I?ve seen this in the past. People that attack and try to bury a company usually get fucked the hardest. Those that are supportive and hopeful are usually the first to get paid. It?s human nature. Put yourself in their shoes. If you had 10 people that were supportive and 10 people that were real assholes. Who would you pay first? Might want to consider that before making your next post.
To those of you that think MiddleMen caused this. Are you kidding? Do you know how hollywood works? That movie started 3 years ago. He had all the money put aside in escrow back then. You think the big name stars he had would show up for a nobody if the money wasn?t guaranteed? Come on. The timing is ironic but that?s all it is.
All in all I think this is a step in the right direction. I?ve done a lot of research this week. I?ve made a lot of phone calls. There has been a lot of information posted that really makes the situation look bad. I?ll be honest I?ve been worried. But for every bad thing I?ve seen posted I?ve heard a good thing from people with some REAL knowledge of what?s going on. Obviously nobody is saying it publically because if it turns out to not be true the mob will turn their attention towards them. That said I think with funds starting to be released people should tone it down a little. People reporting this to the news, calling the feds etc is retarded. Have you read the posts on here this week? There are some great posts and some intelligent people HOWEVER for every great post there are 10 retarded ones. Our industry is under enough stress as it is. We don?t need any more.
Give the man time. If the wires went out today it?s a huge step and shows Epassporte is far from dead. Supporting them gives us a better shot of getting paid than attacking them.
