i know this is an old article but recently a former korean porn-star appeared on a japanese porn dvd creating much outrage in South Korea, still dominated by conservative, Confucianism (protestant?) mentality.
Its quite shocking how personal liberties are violated, basically Korean citizenship holders cannot produce pornography in their own country, so they go offshore (Canada) to produce it. The actresses are caught (i dont know how) in South Korea where they returned, humiliated, and their families notified of their former profession (in another extreme case they showed the porno to actresses families)
Yet if you are held hostage in some christian mission to middle east country, they dont give a shit. But if you make a porno, you WILL be punished if you are Korean….lol !
