Business Concept: Porn Army

  • February 28, 2009

With the economy in the crapper and a ridiculous amount of people without jobs, I’ve been bouncing a business plan in my head an figured I’d bounce it off of you guys.
Putting together a porn team.
Actually hiring people to sit in an office and working together towards one common goal: Making Me Money.
One employee would handle blogging. One could handle gallery creation. One would handle SEO. Have an article writer…. You know, an entire army working together….
Has anyone here ever attempted something like this?

CCBill stats click tracking

  • February 27, 2009

I’m told this is a known issue, just wondering if I’m the only one running into it.
Signed up for a couple of programs in the last week that use CCBill only for their stats. Clicks aren’t tracking at all.
Put in a bug report with CCBill over the weekend. Got email on Monday that it’s a known issue and will be resolved at some point, but they don’t know when. Called back today, got the same response.
I can’t help but wonder how many other programs using ccbill links I have up that aren’t tracking also.
Of course I get the standard "all sales are being recorded" statement.

Controlling blog posts with a spreadsheet

  • February 27, 2009

I like the "hands on" approach so sometimes I really don’t automate like I should. My spreadsheet system for keeping track of posts to my blogs is one example. It’s simple, requires very little actual work once set up, and gives me the date of the last post that is set up for each blog so I can add new posts before they run dry.
Below is the spreadsheet section for the blogs I have under GarciasBlogs. The first column is the blog name and the last column is the date that the last post is scheduled. I know there is software that would do this easier but I think it is good to force myself to look at the list once a month at least so that the blogs remain real to me.
