Thumblogger and 2257

I understand that if you post nude images on your blog and its hosted in the USA you need to maintain 2257 records. But how does this work if you use Thumblogger? If the images are hosted on their servers, who has to keep the 2257 records?
By the way, I know the standard response to any 2257 questions is "See a lawyer" but I still decided to post this on the chance that someone else has an opinion or response and is willing to share it. If your only response is "See a lawyer" and it makes you feel better to type that in, no problem. But if you actually have some insight into this, hearing it would be much appreciated.
