Too much hits to sponsor from a brand new domain

I just launched brand new site on a brand new domain, wp2.6 blog, and while I publish its posts and working on them (edit, save, edit, save), sponsor (whom I advertise on this blog) gets a hundreds of unique hits from that blog, and the second sponsor too, but with no referrer data! In google analytics there is nothing about too much visits.
Links to sponsors on this site are plain, not masked or redirected. In .htaccess I put all restrictions from bots I found on this forum.
Then, It all stopped for a couple of days, and hits to that sponsor back to normal.
Today, I started to edit some of these posts, and hits to sponsor started again (hundreds of them in a short period of time).
This is my 11th hand written blog, with all of them I work in the same way, there was never issues like this.
Can you tell me what’s going on?
